The First Electric Adventure Motorcycle

From the moment you meet the DSR/X, it fills you with confidence. With 229 Nm of torque, it conquers any terrain with ease, in an upright riding position, with high ground clearance and smooth acceleration thanks to Zero Motorcycles’ Z-Force 75-10X direct drive motor. You can adjust the rear shock preload for comfortable riding regardless of the load.

As the first electric motorcycle with Bosch Offroad Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC), the DSR/X ensures safety, control and confidence on every surface. It also offers enhanced capabilities such as faster charging, greater battery capacity and Parking Mode for easy manoeuvring and clearing obstacles. As the motorcycle that defines the electric adventure category, it includes all Cypher III+ features as standard.

Bosch Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC)

The DSR/X’s MSC supports the rider in acceleration, braking and cornering, regardless of the terrain. Combining Bosch’s MSC system with Zero’s Cypher III+, the off-road version provides dynamic acceleration, improved stability and total control. It delivers class-leading ABS, cornering brake control, traction control and drag-torque control, maximising rider safety.

Bosch Vehicle Hold Braking

Vehicle Hold Braking activates when you stop on an incline, holding the brake fully and acting as a temporary handbrake. It gives the rider the freedom to make adjustments on uphill stops. When the throttle is applied, the brake releases for a smooth start. Alternatively, it deactivates automatically after three minutes.

Showa Suspension System

The new front and rear suspension delivers controlled, comfortable and agile riding, and excels on off-road routes. With fully adjustable 190 mm of travel front and rear, it provides ample suspension for any terrain. The rear shock features manual preload adjustment, allowing ride-height adaptation according to the load.

Instant Adjustment and Personalisation

The new DSR/X offers a range of premium digital and physical accessories, making it the ultimate adventure motorcycle. With five standard ride modes and the ability to customise the off-road mode through the NextGen app, adaptability is simple and immediate. Bosch Linked Braking enhances stability with controlled dual braking in low grip, while Vehicle Hold Braking provides confidence on climbs and descents.

Ride Modes

The DSR/X features multiple preset modes: Sport, Street, Eco, Rain and Canyon, all accessible from the motorcycle’s display and customisable through the NextGen app. Custom modes allow unlimited options for different riding styles and conditions. Bosch Offroad MSC can be added to any mode, improving control in low grip. Each mode has separate profiles for top speed, torque and braking/battery regeneration.

Cypher III+

The Zero adventure experience is based on the most advanced motorcycle operating system, Cypher III+. Beyond its extensive customisation capability, the DSR/X offers faster charging, increased battery capacity and Parking Mode for slow reverse — ideal for obstacles or tight spaces. Cypher also supports unlimited capabilities via OTA (Over The Air) updates.

Z-Force 17.3 kWh Battery

The Z-Force 17.3 kWh lithium battery gives the DSR/X a city range of 288 km. With the optional Power Tank upgrade (fitted by an authorised workshop), capacity can reach nearly 21 kWh.

The battery stands out for its class-leading power and energy density, combined with the aluminium housing with thermal jacket and heat-transfer system, ensuring continuous cell cooling and maximum motor performance over time, with no need for maintenance or extra care.

Z-Force 17.3 kWh Battery

The DSR/X features the Z-Force 17.3 kWh battery, which delivers 288 km of city range. With the optional Power Tank upgrade (fitted by an authorised workshop), range capacity can reach nearly 21 kWh. The battery combines top power and energy density with an aluminium housing and heat-transfer system, ensuring continuous cell cooling and maximum long-term motor performance, with zero maintenance.

Rapid Charge System

The DSR/X’s Rapid Charge System is scalable, allowing different charging levels to suit your needs. The motorcycle comes from the factory with a 6.6 kW charger. In addition, an optional 6 kW module is available (fitted by an authorised workshop), raising total charging power up to 12.6 kW.

The DSR/X can also be charged anywhere, even from a regular household socket, overnight, in about 4 hours, offering maximum flexibility and convenience for daily use.

Z-Force 75-10X Motor

The unique Z-Force 75-10X direct drive motor of the DSR/X is specially tuned for the demands of off-road riding on difficult terrain. It shares some architectural elements with the 75-10, but with entirely different internal materials, delivering 229 Nm of torque and 75 kW of instant power, allowing the motorcycle to clear any obstacle with ease and reach a top speed of 161 km/h.

Combined with the brushless internal permanent-magnet architecture and passively air-cooled design, the motor delivers class-leading performance and efficiency, with minimal to zero maintenance needs.

Frame

The DSR/X’s frame is completely new, though it retains design continuity with certain Zero Motorcycles street bikes. It has been renewed to maximise durability while reducing weight as much as possible, offering resilience on the most demanding routes.

The distribution of the motor and drivetrain is ideally balanced, creating a design with optimal weight distribution and centralised mass. The motorcycle’s components are positioned differently to serve adventure use, offering a high ground clearance of 24.6 cm — best in class.

Combined with the coaxial power-pivot swingarm, reinforced for heavier loads in tough conditions, and the Showa adventure suspension, the motorcycle’s architecture delivers agile, controlled and confident riding on any terrain.

Linked Braking System

The DSR/X is the first Zero Motorcycles model to feature a linked braking system. Controlled by the integrated Bosch Advanced Stability Control System, it activates instantly upon detecting loss of grip or slip.

The system simultaneously applies the right amount of braking to the front and rear J.Juan discs, offering improved control when climbing or descending on steep and loose surfaces.

Display & Control

The DSR/X features a fully customisable display, so you can clearly see all the information you need. You can either manually configure the data shown, or let the industry-leading automatic contrast-adjustment system do all the work for you.

The full-colour 127 mm TFT display shows all data fields with clarity. Multifunction navigation allows instant ride-mode changes, cruise control, heated-grip adjustment and much more, all with easy, intuitive operation.

Showa Suspension

The DSR/X offers smooth riding on any terrain and with any load, thanks to the reinforced suspension for your adventure routes.

The Showa 47 mm front suspension features 190 mm of travel and fully adjustable settings, while the convenient manual preload adjustment wheel on the new rear shock allows perfect adaptation for a passenger or fully loaded optional TRAX ADV panniers.

This adjustability ensures comfort and stability, regardless of riding conditions or the motorcycle’s load.

Wheels & Tyres

The DSR/X can clear almost any obstacle thanks to its exceptionally light and durable spoked wheels, 19” front and 17” rear.

In their standard version, the wheels are fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tyres, offering excellent performance on every type of terrain. For those who want to turn the DSR/X into a fully trail-ready off-road motorcycle, the Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR option is available, ideal for the most demanding routes.

LED Lights

See the road ahead like never before and make sure your motorcycle is seen, with the custom full-LED headlight and LED tail light with opalescent light-pipe, offering unrivalled side visibility.
