The new DS MY2024 is the spearhead of Zero Motorcycles’ Adventure range — offering capabilities never before available on an 11kW motorcycle that can be ridden on a category A1 licence.
For 2024, the new Zero DS has been designed from the ground up. Built on the platform of the flagship and highly successful Adventure DSR/X, it provides all the capabilities the modern rider needs to cross any route — from country roads to daily commutes in busy, traffic-filled metropolises.
With a new 14.4+ kWh battery and a brand-new Z-Force 75-7 motor, on top of all the other improvements, it comes equipped with the latest and class-leading Cypher III+ operating system, included in its standard factory equipment. It offers a series of performance upgrades across every area, which you can download through the NextGen Zero Motorcycles app — such as Bosch’s Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC), including the Offroad MSC also found on the DSR/X.

DSR 2024
For 2024, the DSR is something entirely new in the world of electric motorcycles. Its greatest asset is the ability to combine the best elements of Adventure motorcycles on the open road as well as in its rider’s off-road pursuits.
No rider holding a category A2 licence could imagine that the DSR MY2024 is available with its impressive 170 Nm of torque and 70hp of power.
The new DSR MY2024 can also be upgraded through a new software release, installed by the dealer and importer, transforming it into an even more capable dual-use motorcycle (A3) — always provided the required legal conditions for this upgrade are met. The upgraded (A3) DSR MY2024 reaches 195 Nm of torque and 80hp.
Regardless of which version of the DSR you ride, both have entirely new and improved capabilities compared with the previous version, thanks to the new 15.6 kWh battery and the brand-new Z-Force 75-10X motor.
On top of all this comes the award-winning Cypher III+ operating system, included in its standard factory equipment, offering a series of performance upgrades across every area which you can download through the NextGen Zero Motorcycles app.
In its factory equipment you will find, among other things, Bosch’s Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC), including the Offroad MSC also found on the DSR/X.
The new DSR is a truly “smart” motorcycle with the Cypher III+ operating system and the available Over-The-Air (OTA) updates. Thanks to the built-in Cellular Connectivity Module (CCM) it features, operating on a 4G wireless network, gain access to the NextGen app with its standard functions and enjoy unlimited capabilities.

From the very first moment you ride it, the DSR/X inspires confidence. With its fully ergonomic and upright riding position, its high ground clearance and the smooth acceleration it offers, Zero’s latest-generation Z-Force 75-10X motor, with its enormous 229 Nm of torque, makes the DSR/X MY2024 clear any obstacle effortlessly.
With Showa’s top adjustable suspension and Bosch’s off-road Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC) — which the DSR/X was the first to use in the electric Adventure motorcycle category — it ensures its rider safety, control and confidence in all grip conditions.

The DSR/X offers five distinct ride modes: Sport, Street, Eco, Rain and Canyon, easily adjustable also through the Zero NextGen app. These customised modes provide endless options to suit any riding style or conditions. Bosch Offroad MSC can be added to any mode, enhancing control in low-grip conditions. Bosch Linked Braking enhances stability by activating controlled combined braking when grip is lost. The Vehicle Hold braking function provides confidence when stopping on steep inclines or uneven ground. Each mode has unique performance profiles for top speed, torque and battery regeneration, both under braking and off-throttle.

DSR/X BLACK FOREST 2024
The DSR/X Black Forest Edition is a special edition of the DSR/X MY2024, built and prepared to take on the most extreme conditions. This special factory edition features top-tier parts and accessories and is aimed at the most hardcore Adventure riders.
The impressive new DSR/X Black Forest Edition is also accompanied, among everything else, by a dedicated motorcycle cover, as well as a VIP gift box containing personalised accessories for its rider — making them feel unique and fully prepared for any adversity they may encounter together.
The additional bespoke equipment of the DSR/X Black Forest includes: a larger and taller windscreen (tool-free adjustable, even on the move, as on the standard version); a seat made of premium materials, ready for off-road use; fog lights, handguards, an aluminium skid plate, crash bars, off-road footpegs, a centre stand and smoked LED indicators adding further style and practicality.
Perhaps the most significant addition is the three metal panniers, together with their inner bags, which come on top of the already rich equipment of the DSR/X Black Forest. In this special edition with spoked wheels that accept tubeless tyres, as on the standard version, off-road tyres are sold separately.
